Dr. Lloyd attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, a certificate in applied business and completed an extensive Alzheimer’s disease research project. Dr. Lloyd then attended The University of Vermont College of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree. Next, he completed an internal medicine residency with the University of Chicago NorthShore as well as a clinical and research rotation in the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine Rheumatology department. After completing his residency training, Dr. Lloyd went on to Los Angeles, CA, where he completed his rheumatology fellowship program at the prestigious David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. During his fellowship, he underwent additional training at the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course and Hands-on Workshop at UCLA to fine tune his ultrasound techniques. In July 2017 Dr. Lloyd opened Seaside Rheumatology, in Encinitas, California. He continues to expand his education and advanced training, staying abreast of the latest developments in rheumatological medicine.
